Tap: Lesson Work Overview 

In this lesson, we continued to refine our sequences in the dance. The video above is an overview of what we worked on throughout the lesson. At the start you can see our first attempt at working together and then our more refined run through. You can clearly see and hear the difference between the 2. In our first attempt, we are out of time with one another and didn’t all start at the same time. When we do it again after some cleaning up, we are a lot more together and we are in unison. We need to be able to maintain that unison throughout the whole dance not just for one small section. Breaking it down like this and refining each section individually is going to really help us with our timing. 

I also worked with Verity and we worked on making sure we were in time. I said the counts while Verity did the sequence to make sure we were in time with each other. This was a helpful exercise to help with timing. We did several exercises like this to help with our tempo and timing as a group as right now it is key we sort this out as it is probably the biggest problem in our routine right now. We worked as a group for majority of the lesson as this is the only way we can really work on our group timing. We are improving a lot more with timing, we just need to combine to work on it in the need couple lessons we have left before the show.
